Joanne Davenport

"Very comfortable tent on stilts. Solar energy used for hot water and lighting. Escourted by 'security' at night. Good quality food formally served and buffet breakfast. Great packed lunch, too. Great views of lake."

Julie Croucher, Tribes
"The style and setting of Maramboi is great and it's a good option for being outside of Tarangire as it's not far from the park entrance and the views to the lake are lovely.  The rooms were light and airy though a bit shabby in decor and the food was terrible, but I'm happy to say that I think things have improved since my stay!"
Mr. Alan Barber
"We really enjoyed Maramboi. The 'tented' element unlike anything with tents we had experienced. Building work going on which never affected us & what we assumed were the temporary restaurant facilities around the pool suited us well. We loved having animals - zebra, wildebeest & impala - trotting past our lodge from time to time. Charming & very helpful staff."
