With opportunities for canoeing and fishing, too, there's plenty to keep you occupied.

The bathroom is equally hi-spec, with 2 hand basins, a large shower cubicle, deep bathtub and triple aspect windows. There's an additional shower outdoors.
The high-ceilinged central areas are open plan and lead out to a wide deck with steps down to the firepit surrounded by cushioned seating. The lounge has sofas, armchairs and an open fire, and the dining area has glass doors which can be folded back to admit the fresh air. The bar is another light room opening out on to the deck. From all of these locations you have excellent views down to the river. The lodge's wine cellar is a cosy venue for tastings, while the open air boma is used for dining by lamplight.
