Hog Hollow is a lovely lodge on the edge of an indigenous forest in a private nature reserve with panoramic views of the surrounding forests, valleys and mountains, in one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa - the Garden Route.
Each of the 16 suites has a private deck overlooking the wonderful views. King size beds, fireplaces, hammocks, ensuite bathrooms and hand-crafted artifacts are just a few of the thoughtful touches that welcome you. There is also a private villa with 3 bedrooms, spacious accommodation and an infinity pool.
The main house is the social hub of Hog Hollow. There are three lounge areas and a communal dining area next to the swimming pool and sundeck. Each evening a fire is lit in the boma and guests gather for sundowners. Guests can enjoy outstanding cuisine. Breakfast is a buffet style meal including cooked dishes and champagne. Dinner is a socialble affair often featuring fresh fish and seafood.
Hog Hollow particularly welcomes children, organising babysitting, special turn downs with a glass of fresh milk and a Gingerbread Man, children's stories and CDs, buckets and spades for beach days and special menus and meal times.

City life in Cape Town, gorgeous Garden Route scenery and magnificent wildlife in the Eastern Cape.
"Situated in a peaceful location in the middle of nowhere, Hog Holloow is not for people who want to be the thick of things. Nicely presented rooms (apart from the honeymoon suite which I felt was smaller than the other rooms and quite dark). The villa is something special, very contemporary and it felt as though you're living in someone's house rather than a hotel. Hog Hollow is ideally located between Storms River adventure area and Plettenberg Bay so there are plenty of activities nearby."
