Hilltop Camp is the oldest safari camp in KwaZulu-Natal which was extensively re-built in the nineties. There are around 70 rooms all spread out over the hillside in various formations ranging from 2 to 8 beds. There is a swimming pool and deck area with sweeping views over the valley.
There is a short self guided trail in the grounds of the camp (the camp is fenced, though wild animals may still be in the area) Two hour guided walks can be booked at reception, as can morning or sunset game drives with a knowledgeable local guide. There are several picnic and barbeque sites within the park.
The main area houses the restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at set times, the lounge and bar where you can mix with other guests.
