Ghost Mountain Inn is set in two hectares of gardens in a peaceful location in northern KwaZulu Natal. The hotel has 74 rooms and suites, varying in size but all with similar facilites including TV, hot drinks maker, minibar and air conditioning. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom and feature patios or balconies looking out on to the garden.
The Inn is well placed for enjoying game viewing, with several game reserves nearby, including Mkuze and Hluhluwe. Excursions can be arranged to Lake Jozini for cruises and fishing. Other activities local hikes, exploring by mountain bike and Zulu cultural walks. The inn welcomes families and special activities can be arranged for youngsters.
Back at the Inn you can relax in and around the garden pool, savour meals al fresco on the terrace and in the restaurant, enjoy a game of pool or table tennis in the games room, chat over a drink in the bar and use the fre Wi-Fi in the lounge to keep in touch with those back at home. Rooms: There are 74 guest rooms. The standard rooms are the original hotel rooms and are en-suite with a bath and shower over and overlook the courtyard or gardens. There are superior rooms with views of the gardens and mountains, spacious garden rooms and mountain view rooms which can sleep up to three people. One room has been designed for wheelchair and disabled access. There are four suites, all spacious with their own living area. Two suites are interconnecting and can make good family accommodation. Room amenities include air conditioning, fans, heating, TV, tea and coffee maker, minibar, safe, hair dryer and private patio or balcony. There is room service (limited hours).
Activities: Exploring the great outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, cruises and fishing on Lake Jozini. Wildlife focussed activities include game drives, guided walks, night drives and bird watching. You can take a Zulu cultural walk. There are special activities for children such as nature treasure hunts and walks, canoeing, navigation skills, face painting, pizza making and Zulu crafts.
Facilities: There are two swimming pools (one in the spa), a tennis court, games room with pool and table tennis tables, a gym, spa and steam room.
