Hotel Paracas has a wonderful location on several hectares of grounds overlooking Paracas Bay, a short distance from the centre of town. It has its own dock from which you can set off to the Ballestas Islands to view sea lions, dolphins and a wide variery of birds. You can also take flights over the intriguing Nazca Lines during your stay. Closer to home you can balance relaxing by the pools with kayaking, windsurfing and sailing courtesy of the watersports centre. The hotel is part of The Luxury Collection group of hotels.
Accommodation is in 120 rooms and suites, all air conditioned and en-suite, and have a private terrace with sea or garden views. Bathrooms are stocked with toiletries specially created for the Luxury Collection. There are several room categories ranging in size from 48 to 120sqm. All have TV, phone, free Wi-Fi, bottled water, minibar, bathrobes and slippers and round the clock room service.
There are three restaurants. Ballestas is the main dining area, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is supplemented by a trattoria serving tasty Italian fare, and a seafood restaurant on the hotel's dock where you can dine on delicate ceviche and other seafood dishes. There are two bars where you can socialise with fellow guests. Leisure facilities include a fitness centre with a selection of exercise machines and weights, and a spa where you can choose from a comprehensive menu of treatments including massages, facials, body wraps and saunas.

Location: The hotel is on the coast, near the centre of Paracas. It is 12kms from the airport
Rooms: There are 120 rooms comprising 104 rooms and 16 suites. Superior garden view rooms and superior ocean view rooms have 48sqm of space, one king bed or two queen beds, flatscreen TV, climate control, safe, free Wi-Fi and an en-suite bathroom. Each room has a terrace. Some rooms are adapted for disabled access. Balcony suites are larger (94sqm), have a lounge area, sofa bed and larger terrace with partial or full ocean view. The solarium suite occupies 120sqm, has a sitting room, and two terraces. The plunge pool suite is the same size and has a small pool on one of its terraces. All rooms are air conditioned. Minibar items and room service is available for guests in all rooms, to be paid for locally.
Activities: Take boat trips to the Ballestas Islands in the national reserve, explore the coast, take flights over the Nazca Lines. Catamarans, kayaks, paddle boards and windsurfers are available for guest use, offered subject to weather conditions. They need to be booked in advance.
Facilities: The hotel has 35 hectares of grounds. Facilities include three restaurants (see below), lounge-bar, a second bar, business centre, gym, spa, jacuzzi and two swimming pools with sunbathing decks. The hotel has an ATM, gift shop, a luggage storage service and a laundry service (pay locally). The hotel concierge can make travel arrangements.
Dining: The Ballestas Restaurant is open for breakfast (a buffet), lunch and dinner. Fish and seafood feature prominently on the menu, and both Peruvian and Mediterranean cuisines are offered. The trattoria specialises in Italian fare at lunch and dinner times. Chalana is a specialist fish restaurant located on the hotel's private dock with an open terrace, serving lunch on certain days of the week and open to non residents as well as hotel guests.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome. The Kids Explorers Club is open daily and offers a variety of activities. There is a children's pool. The restaurant has a children's menu.
