The elegant, white-painted facade of this 1920s town house, complete with portico entrance is matched by its stylish decor and furnishings within. Located in a quiet street in the popular Barranco neighbourhood, the property retains the feel of house, with a cosy lounge-library with its bay window, the perfect place to browse through a book, and a tranquil inner courtyard where you can rest away from the city crowds.
Some of the guest rooms are located in the original house with others in a new wing in the gardens. They vary in size and outlook, and all have climate control for optimum comfort, and en-suite bathroom. Other amenities include flatscreen TV, phone and safe. The style is classic, walls are painted in neutral tones and hung with artworks, curtains are elegantly tied back and the whole effect is easy on the eye.
The generous breakfast is a good way to begin your day in the capital, which you can explore at your leisure. The city centre is about a half hour drive away with its attractive main square. Barranco itself has a lot to offer. There are lots of shops, boutiques and galleries and plenty of restauarnts and bars, popular with locals as well as visitors. You can explore the area on foot or take advantage of the free hotel bikes to travel further afield. A drink at the rooftop bar is a wonderful way to round off your day in Lima.
