Amazon Villa is offered as an exclusive retreat in the rainforest. This is a private bungalow in a secluded setting offering high quality accommodation, personal service and a choice of rainforest activities. Built using traditional materials such as wood, reed and thatch, and with colourful paintings, plump cushions and woven rugs, the atmosphere is totally easygoing and relaxed. This is your home from home in the Amazon.
The large bedroom has a king size bed and leads into a bathroom with hot and cold running water and a bathtub designed for long, lazy soaks. The lounge is equipped with a widescreen TV where you can watch nature films and documentaries to compliment your time in the rainforest, though may prefer to sit back, watch and listen to monkeys and birds in the trees nearby. There's a small kitchen where your chef prepares delicious meals, and you also have the option of specially cooked food delivered directly to your door. Either way you enjoy tasty food in the privacy in your open air dining room. The villa is about a 15 minute walk from Refugio Amazonas, and you are welcome to stroll over to the lodge whenever you wish, to meet fellow travellers over a drink in the bar.
While here you have a choice of activities including nature walks, mountain biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, river swimming (in the dry season), watching macaws at the clay lick, canopy tours, visiting a local farm, a sunset boat trip and a special dinner by a campfire. All activities are operated exclusively for you as a resident of the villa and are led by your own guide.
