Mobile camping allows you to get right off the beaten track, travelling off road in a sturdy 4x4 vehicle to remote locations where the camp is set up by staff ready for you to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's simple, of necessity, as camp must later be packed up and leave no trace, but that doesn't mean you lack for comforts.
You sleep in a 2-person dome tent on mattress set on a camp bed, with bed linen, pillow and duvet provided, and a lantern. It's cosy and all you need for a good night's sleep. There are shared bucket showers, with solar-heated water, and long drop toilets, and you have your own wash stand.
Meals are hearty, with a full cooked breakfast each morning to set you up for the day, a cold collation for lunch and hot dinner cooked on the open fire. All drinks and food are included. Sundowners are served before dinner.
The camping vehicle is a Land Rover or Toyota Land Cruiser, and each guest has a window seat. Food and drinks are stored in the on board fridge so refreshments are never far away.
