You will find Erongo Wilderness Lodge in a special place where desert, mountain and bushveld meet. Nestled in amongst giant granite boulders is this small camp of just ten tented chalets.
The chalets have been built in the hillside, on stilts and are linked by raised wooden walkways and natural stone steps. Built in harmony with the surroundings they have broad, shaded decks, and bathrooms built around existing rock and trees, having minimal impact on the environment. This will be your haven while you are staying here in simplistic comfort. Natural materials feature heavily with wooden floors, tables and chairs adding to the natural feel of the camp.
The main area is comfortable yet casual, a high thatch ceiling covers the open plan lounge and restaurant which overlook a floodlit waterhole. In winter the cool evenings are warmed by a central fireplace. Delicious meals are served at individual tables with freshly baked breads and tempting pastries a highlight. All this can be enjoyed in this spectacular wilderness setting.
