Palais Sebban overview

Palais Sebban is a beautiful riad in Marrakesh which has been carefully restored over the course of 4 years, down to the finest detail, and utilising many of the original features. The result is a riad of stunning grandeur.

There are 5 separate courtyards of varying size, a beautifully ornate swimming pool, spa, hammam and massage facilities, and a large roof-terrace offering views of Koutoubia mosque in one direction, or the Atlas Mountains in the other. A maze of connecting hallways offer many small seated areas located in alcoves -perfect for tranquil relaxation.

There are 25 generously sized rooms and suites, some with pool view and private terrace. All rooms have been individually designed, combining traditional Moroccan features with mod-cons such as air-conditioning, safes, mini-bars, hairdryers and heating. The staff offer a high level of service, and the property retains a warm, family-run atmosphere.

Mr. Mark Cheltenham (05/04/2014)

"Beautiful design, architecture and flora."

Mr David Hawkins (26/07/2013)
"The slightly disconcerting tramp through the "ordinary" streets of the Medina contrasts incredibly with the cool Arabian beauty of the interior. The terrace gardens and pool are just wonderful for literally chilling out after the heat and hustle of the city."
Virginia & Richard Comely (20/05/2013)
"The Palais Sebban was very nice but a bit shabby behind the loungers near the pool. There was a rather unpleasant odour near these loungers of a)cats and b)drains. The owner of the Riad appeared very unfriendly compared to the rest of the staff who could not do enough for you. It was as much as he could do to say "bonjour"! There is obviously upgrading going on at the back of the Riad but this did not affect the rest of the place. Our room was slightly bizarre with the shower & toilet behind the bed but quite a quirky experience and not a complaint, just unusual! The cost of the food was double to that in the local restaurants but it was excellent - although if we had stayed there longer I think the menu choice would become tiresome as this was a small menu and did not change. The wine list was limited but what we did drink was Moroccan and very drinkable. The public areas of the Riad itself were immaculate and were constantly being cleaned which was why the odour near the pool loungers was so noticeable! We would stay there again as none of the above detracted from a lovely holiday."
Mrs Bridget Davies (29/03/2013)
"Like many riads, not a fancy entrance, but exquisite inside. Very good friendly service. Food ok, but not an issue as there are so many other places to eat."
Edward Clarence (05/09/2012)
"The nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff friendly and helpful with the accommodation excellent. Just the right size with 19 rooms, furnished comfortably yet in style."
