A Short Break in Marrakech

5 days from £340pp plus international flights.

Spend 4 nights in a beautiful Moroccan riad, explore the souks, enjoy an evening in the Djemma el Fna, try a traditional hammam and, of course, taste the delicious cuisine!

Marrakech is a place to entice and entertain. From the everyday bustle of the Djemma el Fna to the tranquility of its gardens and palaces, from the narrow alleyways of the medina to the boulevards of the new city, Marrakech will enthrall and excite you.

Based in a beautifully restored riad in the medina (walled city) of Marrakech, you have ample time to explore the old and new city, the souks, the gardens and the historic sites. There is also time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the city over a refreshing drink or meal, while at the riad you can enjoy fine views from the rooftop terrace and enjoy a cooling dip in the pool.

We will take half a day to show you around, but then you can explore on your own.  And if you fancy doing something such as learning Moroccan cuisine while you're here, just let us know. We can arrange this for you!

Palais Sabban, Marrakech

Arrive at Marrakech airport, where you will be met and taken to your hotel. Palais Sebban is a beautiful riad in Marrakesh medina which has been carefully restored, retaining many of the original features. There are 5 separate courtyards of varying size, a swimming pool, spa, hammam and massage facilities, and a large roof-terrace. Relax and settle in after your journey.

Entertainment at the Djemma el Fna, Marrakech

After breakfast you will be taken on a half day city tour. Your guide will show you some of the main highlights of the city and help you get your bearings for the rest of your stay.
The afternoon is free. You can explore the medina and souks on your own, perhaps try out your bargaining skills, watch the world go by the Djemmaa el Fna and try some local food in one of the many restaurants - the choice is yours! Breafast
Majorelle Gardens, Marrakech

A free day to explore the city. Marrakech has something for everyone! You can visit the old and new city, take a caleche (horse-drawn carriage) to stroll around the lovely Majorelle Gardens, visit palaces and museums, not to mention sampling the delicious cuisine.

A second free day in Marrakech. You may opt to spend a lazy morning in the Djemmaa el Fna, watching the ever-changing scenes in front of you. Alternatively, you may want to visit the city's other main sights, such as the Koutoubia Mosque, or the Saadian tombs to see the richly-decorated mausoleums, with mosaics, magnificent domed ceilings, stalactite plaster work, intricate carvings and marble pillars.
If you fancy learning a new skill, why not try a half day's Moroccan cooking course? Breakfast
