Nosy Saba is a private island just 10kms from the mainland coast, with beach-facing suites, a large pool and range of activities and sports. The island has sandy beaches and lush forest, and is perfect for exploring on foot. You can take boat trips to neighbouring islands and to explore mangroves and reefs, look for lemurs and birds in the forest and go game fishing. Each of the suites provides space, privacy and comfort. You can help yourself to drinks from the minibar or make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, listen to music on the CD player and relax in the hammock on your private, ocean-facing terrace. There's a private bathroom with full running water.
The resort has two restaurants, one used for breakfast and lunch and the other for dinner. Dining is a relaxed affair with most meals served buffet style, and the cuisine is based on fresh local produce including fish and seafood.

Location: The resort is on the island of the same name in the Mozambique Channel about 10kms from the northwest mainland coast. It is about 110kms south of Nosy Be. Nosy Saba has an area of 130 hectares. The nearest airports are at Nosy Be (35 minutes) and Majunga on the mainland (55 minutes). Flying time from Antananarivo is 2 hours 30 minutes. Nosy Saba can also be reached by speed boat from Nosy Be (3 hours 30 minutes) and from Antsohihy on the mainland (3 hours).
Rooms: There are 2 types of suite: each of the 12 junior suites (75sqm) has a king size bed and can sleep up to 2 people and can take an extra bed for a 3rd, and the 15 senior suites (105sqm) sleep up to 4 people in 2 double beds plus up to 2 more people in 2 extra beds, and have 2 bathrooms. Both types of suite have a CD player, minibar, kettle, hairdryer, safe, an en-suite bathroom and 25sqm terrace with a hammock and access to the beach. There is room service.
Activities: Take nature walks by the coast and in the forest, swim, snorkel and fish, try various watersports such as canoeing, windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing. The resort arrange trips to the nearby Radama Islands, to Analalava village on the Big Island and to the Sahamalaza Marine and Terestrial Biosphere Reserve, the last a must for nature lovers with chances to see lemurs, many species of birds, fish, dolphins and whales. Sports including beach volleyball, petanque, archery and golf are available locally. The hotel has a selection of board games and a snooker table.
Facilities: Social areas include a bar and 2 dining rooms. There is a large outdoor swimming pool and sun deck. On the beach there are sun loungers, tables and parasols for guest use. The spa offers massages and there’s a shop where you can buy essential oils, spices and handicrafts. The resort offers a laundry service.
Dining: The venue for breakfast and lunch is Le Calypso, while dinner is served in La Rotunda. Both are located within sight of the beach. There is a choice of wines.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome, and suites can take extra beds to accommodate families.
