The East

Hotel Le Grenat overview

This hotel is located close to the well-known Ranomafana National Park and in the heart of the village of the same name which is renowned for its thermal springs. With just 14 rooms it is an intimate hotel with friendly, welcoming staff.

Amanda Marks

"I like this place. It's not the fanciest or highest quality place in Ranomafana, but there is a good feeling here. It's a locally-owned place which has recently expanded.  The people are friendly, and one of its key points is that it's nice to be in the village. The rooms (whilst a bit frilly and flowery for my taste and probably most other travellers too) are clean and comfy enough.  I ate lunch here, and my garlic prawns, chips and vegetables were really tasty.  If you're looking for some Malagasy hospitality at a very good price, this is perfect"
