Chez Maggie is a collection of bungalows and chalets set in pretty gardens that lead down to the beach. The atmopshere is pleasantly relaxed, due as much to the friendly staff as the location. While primarly a place to unwind, there are opportunities for snorkelling and diving, as well as boat trips and excursions to places of local interest such as Kirindy Forest and Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park.
There are 1 and 2-bedroom bungalows, and chalets with accommodation is arranged over 2 floors. All are en-suite and have sitting areas. Bungalows have private terraces or verandas. In addition, the captain's cabin makes good family accommodation, and a first floor apartament ideal for couples. All are in different locations in the grounds.
The restaurant specialises in tasty seafood supplmented by fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables. This large circular building also houses the bar. The gardens are stocked with flowers, and there is a swimming pool and sundeck surrounded by palm trees.

Location: The hotel is on Nosy Kely beach in Morondava, on the west coast of Madagascar. There is an airport in Morondava.
Rooms: There are 8 bungalows and 2 2-storey chalets, an upstairs apartment and the captain’s cabin, all located in the gardens. 5 of the bungalows (36sqm) have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge and a terrace. There are 3 smaller (26sqm) bungalows with 1 bedroom each, a bathroom and a small terrace. The precise layout for each bungalow varies slightly. Chalets (34sqm) have a large sitting room with 2 sofa beds, a bathroom with a shower on the ground floor, and a bedroom with balcony upstairs. The apartment has a double bedroom, bathroom and small balcony. The captain’s cabin (42sqm) has a double bedroom, sitting room with 2 sofa beds suitable for children, smaller sitting room, and bathroom with both bath and shower.
Activities: Relaxing on the beach and by the pool. Staff can arrange local excursions to places such as Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, Kirindy Forest and the Avenue of Baobabs. Other activities available include sailboat cruises, snorkelling and diving.
Facilities: Le Masoandro Restaurant is a large round building with a thatched roof and contains a bar on one side. Outside the hotel has garden full of trees and flowers, and an outdoor swimming pool with a small wooden deck and deck chairs.
Dining: Enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and especially fish in the restaurant, and the menu includes some house specialities such as barbecued prawns. Meals are served at individual tables.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
