Fairmont Norfolk Hotel is one of Nairobi's oldest hotels and a city landmark. It first opened in 1904 and has been welcoming guests ever since. Location: Norfolk Hotel is close to the Central Business District of Nairobi, about 3kms from the city centre. It is between a 30 and 60 minute drive of the international airport 20kms away, depending on traffic conditions. Wilson Airport (doemstic flights) is 15kms away.
Rooms: The hotel has 170 rooms and suites. These comprise Fairmont and deluxe rooms, junior, duplex, Karua, 1937 and signature suites. Each has a wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps, a dressing table, armchair, coffee table and luggage racks, plus IDD phone, satellite TV, safe. minibar and mosquito repellent. All are air conditioned and en-suite. Some have a balcony or terrace. There is 24 hour room service.
Activities: City sightseeing including Sheldrick’s Elephant Sanctuary and Giraffe Centre, the Karen Blixen Museum, Kenya National Museum, shopping and relaxing at the hotel.

Dining: Lord Delamere Terrace serves Kenyan and African dishes, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tatu specialises in modern Americano-Kenyan fusion cuisine, and The Pool Restaurant is a casual diner. There is also a lounge where afternoon tea and light meals are served, and a wine bar.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome. Baby sitting can be organised.
