This impressive all-suite resort is set in landscaped gardens by the beach, 5kms south of Diani. In this quiet setting you can relax in your private suite taking in views of the gardens and ocean. Staying here you will have all the benefits of living in your own holiday home plus the run of the communal facilities on your doorstep.
There are 47 suites and villas in total with 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms each. All provide generously proportioned air conditioned rooms with large windows making them marvellously light. Contemporary Swahili furniture adds character. Each suite has a flatscreen TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi internet access, tea and coffee maker and a fridge. You will have your own terrace or balcony where you can spend long, lazy hours. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an on-site food shop, so you can dine in house whenever you wish.
You are free to make use of the communal facilities of Lantana. There include a beachfront swimming pool and another in the gardens, both with paddling areas for children. Le Cafe looks out over the ocean and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As well as delicious food it serves smoothies, juices and a range of hot drinks. Exercise addicts will enjoy the gym and, in the adjacent studio, you can have a relaxing massage and beauty treatments.
Watersports can be booked and include diving, snorkelling, windsurfing and dolphin cruises. If you want to explore on dry land you can hire a bicycle, while a micro-light flight will give you a wonderful bird's eye view of the beautiful coast.

Location: Lantana Galu Beach is 5kms south of Diani Beach. Ukundu airstrip is a 10 minute drive away. Mombasa airport is about 90 minutes from the resort.
Rooms: There are 47 suites and villas, comprising 4 1-bed penthouse suites, 9 2-bed suites, 2 2-bed plunge pool suites, 10 3-bed suites, 2 3-bed plunge pool suites, 19 3-bed villas and 1 3-bed plunge pool villa. They sleep between 2 and 6 people, and have views of the gardens or beach. Bedrooms are en-suite, apart from the 2nd bedroom in the 2 bedroom suites which has a bathroom opposite. Living areas are spacious and open plan, with sitting rooms leading out to a terrace or balcony. Amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, fridge and a tea and coffee maker. There is a fully equipped kitchen in each suite, so you can prepare your own meals if you wish. Some suites and one of the villas have private plunge pools. These properties can be supplied with BBQ equipment on request. Room service is provided.
Activities: Various watersports including windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, snorkelling, diving and deep sea fishing are available nearby on Diani Beach. Boat trips, dhow cruises and boat trips to islands can be arranged. You can also explore by bike and take a micolight flight. The resort can organise wildlife excursions to the Shimba Hills National Reserve, Sable Valley sanctuary and Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary. There is a gift shop on site.
Facilities: The hotel is set in large tropical gardens. There are 2 swimming pools, both with paddling areas for children. Le Café is the resort’s beachfront restaurant. There is also a bar and a coffee bar. You can have a pampering beauty treatment or massage at the special studio and enjoy a workout in the gym. There is a shop selling foodstuffs and toiletries.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. Large suites and villas are suitable for families. Cots and high chairs can be supplied on request, subject to availability.

Lanata Galu Beach supports Ecotourism Kenya's commitment the UN Environment's effort to create a plastic-free East African coastline. Since December 2018 the hotel no longer uses plastic bottles or straws and is raising awareness among staff and guests about the detrimental use of single-use plastic.
