"A great place to stay, well situated in the Mara North Conservancy. Only 8 spacious tents well distanced apart and therefore very private, all with en-suite with flushing wc and bucket showers with no shortage of hot water. Everything spotlessly clean and delicious fresh, well presented meals. Good idea to sit around camp fire with aperitifs before dining at a communal table along with hosts, Colin and Sammy, a delightful couple for whom nothing was too much trouble. The staff were always happy and smiling. It was a bonus to have 24hr solar/battery power especially when it came to re-charging cameras etc."

"Food was out of this World!! We were excited every day to know what we were going to have for our dinner and amazed at the quality of the bush breakfasts and lunches we had during our game drives. The tents were well equipped and comfortable, offering a high degree of privacy and allowing you to feel 'at one with nature', helped by the resident hyena, zebra and gazelles grazing outside our tent every evening. We cannot find fault with anything at Kicheche Mara."

"Enjoyed ourselves but tents a little isolated maybe for older guests.New hosts will in time expand on common areas which are a bit cramped.Food was superb.Our guide here,David, was excellent and a very nice man."
