This is a fantastic safari, a real trip of a lifetime. Not only are you flown around Kenya in a luxurious executive 9-seater plane, but you stay in gorgeous Elewana lodges and safari camps and go on game drives in some of the best wildlife viewing spots in Kenya. You then head over the border to Tanzania for the spectacle that is the Serengeti. Unforgettable!
There are special safaris and then there are special safaris. This is one of the latter. It starts as it means to go on - in considerable style - with a night in a beautiful five-star hotel in Nairobi, staying in a deluxe suite with personal butler service. Then the safari adventure begins, staying in stunning, high-end lodges and camps by Elewana in fantastic game-viewing locations in Kenya and Tanzania that show you a wonderful diversity of landscapes and wildlife. And what’s more, you are flown around Kenya in an executive class 9-seater Cessna plane.
You have two nights in Amboseli National Park, home to vast herds of elephants, and two in Meru National Park, then you head to the world-famous Masai Mara reserve, spending two nights in a classic luxury camp, redolent of the stylish safari camps of the 1920s and 30s. Finally, you fly into Tanzania, to the Serengeti, where you will stay in one of two deluxe camps, where, depending on when you travel, you might even have the chance to see the Great Migration.
Wonderful food and service, superb game viewing and guiding, dinners under the stars, sundowners overlooking the plains, guided walks, cultural visits, this trip has it all.
You will be met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and driven to Hemingways Hotel (45 minutes). You’ll have time to check into your deluxe suite at this exclusive boutique hotel away from the bustle of central Nairobi, and meet your personal butler before settling down to dinner. Dinner
Following breakfast at Hemingways you will be collected and taken to Wilson Airport for your 140km SkySafari flight to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at Tortilis Safari Camp in time for lunch and your first sight of the thousands of weaver bird nests in the acacia forest that surrounds the camp. This is followed by an afternoon game drive, giving you your first chance to spot some of the more than 1000 elephants that live in the park, before returning for dinner. The camp was the first eco lodge in Kenya and is renowned for its Italian cuisine. Full board

How this holiday helps
All of Elewana’s camps and lodges have been designed to have as little impact as possible on their surrounds. Many of our camps employ state-of-the-art power systems, with solar and power-storage technology to ensure minimal emissions and fuel use.
All camps and lodges employ strict recycling systems, ensuring that all recyclable waste is just that- recycled! In Tanzania, this includes sending glass waste to the Shanga workshop in Arusha, where disadvantaged Tanzanians turn the glass into amazing works of art.
Elewana is also proudly rolling out a scheme to significantly reduce plastic water bottle waste. By June this year, all our bush camps will feature Elewana reusable stainless steel water bottles to replace plastic-bottled water. Historically, when reusable bottles were introduced to six of Elewana’s camps in Kenya, this was shown to prevent over 160’000 non-biodegradable plastic bottles a year from ending up in landfills!
