The cottages are located in one of the oldest formal gardens in Kenya which have huge jacaranda, candelabra, cactus, bottlebrush, and other trees. There are more than 200 types of flowers which bloom through the year and numerous bird feeders attract hundreds of varieties of birds. There is a public coffee garden, which is popular with residents and visitors alike. Local facilities in Karen include shops, banks and restaurants. There is a large restaurant serving excellent food and a sunny breakfast terrace.
The cottages are spacious and all have ensuite bathrooms and a large seating and dressing area. All have TVs, internet connection plugs and telephones. Each cottage has a private veranda where guests can relax and enjoy views of the gardens. Guests also have access to a private simming pool and a garden bar, where they can enjoy a drink.
