Mr. Steven Rubin

"Lovely, small hotel with excellent service. Grounds were beautiful, as was the hotel itself."

Ian McGookin
"We were met on arrival with a cocktail before being transferred to the Malaika Suite where we were greeted with a bottle of champagne. The room was amazing (bigger than our house!) with a great balcony overlooking the stunning gardens and pool area. The staff prepared a special honeymoon meal for us in a separate room from other guests, with rose petals on the floor and an open fire in the corner. The food was fantastic (although lottie didn't really get to enjoy much of it as she had picked up a stomach bug....), and then on return to our room there were rose petals all over the floor and bed. The staff at House of Waine were fantastic, and we were made to feel so welcome. We couldn't recommend the hotel more. It was a perfect end to our honeymoon."
Tracy Edwards, Tribes
"This place would be perfect for honeymooners and couples. It is a small hotel, the personal service was wonderful, it has lovely grounds and beautifully decorated rooms. I would happily stay here again, especially fairly close to exploring Karen."
Gordon Steele
"OK for an overnighter. Didn't really see much of it"
Judy Carvalhal
"The house of Waine was just beautiful. They gave us the biggest suite. All went well, the elephant orphanage was worth the visit. "
