The Metropiltan, known as 'The Met', is a smart 21st century hotel with an impressive range of facilities. Just 12kms from the international airport and just a 5 minute walk from the train station, and close to Connaught Place, the hotel is convenient for overnight and city stays.
There are 189 rooms, comprising superior and club rooms, and suites on the top floor. Rooms are decorated in contemporary style and have large bathrooms with a bath tub and shower cubicle. All are air conditioned and have a TV, safe, tea and coffee maker and minibar. Interconnecting rooms make good family accommodation.
There are three restaurants, one serving buffets featuring international dishes and featuring a pastry shop, another specialising in Japanese cuisine with ingredients specially flown in from Japan, and the third offering authentic Indian lunches and dinners. The hotel has a large gym and NeoVeda Spa, with treatment and steam rooms, and a small outdoor swimming pool. There's an art gallery showcasing visual and performing arts.

Location: The Metropolitan is near Connaught Place in the centre of New Delhi. It is 12kms, about a 50 minute drive, from the international airport. There are train and metro stations within a 5 minute walk, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the shops and cafes of Connaught Place, in the centre of New Delhi.
Rooms: There are 189 en-suite rooms, made up of superior rooms, club rooms and the top floor suites. The hotel is an 8 storey hotel and there are lifts to all floors. All rooms are air conditioned, have flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi (pay locally), a safe, minibar, tea and coffee maker, a supply of drinking water, iron and ironing board. Bathrooms have a bathtub and shower and complimentary toiletries. There are sets of interconnecting rooms. Club rooms have space for an extra bed, to accommodate one child.
Activities: Walk to Connaught Place for shopping and to visit cafes, take a taxi or the metro to city sites. The travel desk can arrange transport and sightseeing excursions.
Facilities: The NeoVeda Spa offers Ayurvedic treatments to revive mind, body and spirit, as well as massages, wraps, facials, manicures and pedicures. There’s a modern gym, and an outdoor pool with a seating deck. The Craft House sells pashminas and shawls, jewellery, aromatherapy products and Indian teas. On the lower ground floor there’s an art gallery open 7 days a week. The hotel has 3 restaurants. Zing, by the lobby, serves buffets for breakfast and dinner featuring a choice of international dishes and has a shop selling freshly baked breads, cakes and pastries. Sakura specialises in Japanese food, featuring ingredients flown in from Japan, and Chutney offers pan—Indian cuisine, and has a bar with a wide selection of beverages. The Metropolitan has a business centre and several meeting venues.
Dining: Meals are eaten at individual tables in the location of your choice. Snacks can be enjoyed by the pool.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome. Interconnecting rooms are available for family accommodation.
