Ranthambhore Kothi has spacious rooms, pleasant grounds, an outdoor pool and spa, all within a short drive of Ranthambore National Park. The large rooms have attractive slate floors and walls decorated with animal photographs, and are kept crisply cool with air conditioning. Each room has its own bathroom, contemporary in style, with a walk-in shower and dual hand basins, supplemented by a large open-air shower, ideal for cooling off on a hot day.
The property covers well over a hectare and includes lawned areas, gardens and one of the largest swimming pools in the area, making this an easy place to relax between excursions into the national park and other activities. There's a spa on site, too, for indulgent massages and therapeutic treatments. Most meals are eaten outdoors, and there are buffet and a la carte options. The poolside bar is a good place to unwind and chat to other guests.
While here you can take morning and afternoon open jeep rides in Ranthambore National Park. Though best known for tigers, the park also has healthy populations of deer, sloth bear, leopard and langur monkeys, plus crocodiles in and around the lakes. You can balance wildlife viewings with trips to the impressive Ranthambore Fort, temples and the local village where you can get a feel for day to day life in rural Rajasthan.
