Nature Heritage Resort offers excellent mid-range accommodation at Bandhavgarh. It has 22 rooms with quite simple colourful furnishings. It is set in mature gardens and has a relaxed atmosphere. I like the library here which is a very distinctive stylish building. It is an excellent place to base yourself for a tiger safari in Bandhavgarh National Park.
Morning and evening jeep safaris are escorted by their specialist naturalists. You can also do elephant-back tiger viewing in Bandhavgarh.

"Felt the problem was more about the design of the place, and their keeping parties apart so that the pleasure of being able to share stories with others was not so easy. They did provide us with a birthday cake and did us a \'barbecue\' which was a disappointment as it was normal dinner from the restaurant in tins. Staff had a tendency to stand and stare if not engaged on something."
