La Casona de la Ronda is a charming colonial house dating back to the 18th century in the heart of historic Quito. Rooms combine traditional features like polished wooden floors and hand-carved furniture with modern comforts such as cable TV and wifi internet access. All have en-suite bathrooms.

Location: La Casona de la Ronda is on the oldest street in Quito’s old town, Calle Morales, also known as La Ronda. It is about 40kms from the airport, approximately an hour’s drive.
Rooms: There are 22 rooms in 6 categories, arranged over 3 floors around the central courtyard. All have beds with orthopaedic mattresses, soundproof windows, polished wooden floors, cable TV, phone, safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, safe, hairdryer and en-suite bathroom with a range of toiletries. Some have views of the garden, some of the street and others look out over the inner courtyard. The serenata king rooms have balconies and street views.
Activities: City sightseeing, shopping, visiting cafes, people watching.
Facilities: The hotel has a restaurant, lounge-bar and coffee area by reception. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day. There is a laundry service.
Dining: Meals are eaten at separate tables. Both local and international food is available. A buffet breakfast is available from 06:00 to 10:00 each morning.
