Each of the high-ceilinged villas is individually decorated, with bold colours, stained glass windows, artworks and glass doors leading out to a private terrace with superb views of the valley and San Jose. There's also a walled terrace offering perfect seclusion.
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor areas, and the menu features produce from the lodge's orchard, greenhouse and gardens.The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, each with a sun terrace. There's a spa with 5 treatment rooms where you can enjoy a massage or body treatment, or soak in a Jacuzzi as you take in the views. The gardens, dotted with sculptures, are ideal for a quiet stroll, with over 4 kms of trails leading to viewpoints and waterfalls.
Staff can arrange day trips to the highlands and Poas Volcano, and organise activities like rainforest canopy tours, coffee plantation tours and river rafting.

Location: The Resort is situated 20-minutes from San José International Airport and within 6 miles (10 km) of the city.
Rooms: There are 24 individually designed villas with panoramic views of the Central Valley. The tranquil setting is only 20-minutes from the airport, but you are in the heart of countryside. Each room has a safe, hair dryer, mini bar, coffee maker and free local calls.
Activities: Here you can hike to waterfalls or spend time in the gardens enjoying the orchid collection. Visit the crater of Poás Volcano or visit a real coffee plantation where you will learn all the history and process of the Costa Rican golden bean. Self-guided walks are available on the 4km of on-site scenic trails & natural waterfalls, there’s bird watching and zip-lining too.
Facilities: There is a Spa Village offering a wide range of natural treatments and Jacuzzi’s with stunning valley views or there are 3 swimming pools to try. The restaurant offers both local and international dishes, mainly using the organic produce from the restaurant’s own greenhouse and vegetable gardens. There are 2 craft shops and an art studio on site. The resort also offers room service, a laundry service and a TV room and internet access in main building.
Dining: Wholesome meals are served buffet style at set times, and there is wine to accompany dinner. Meals are eaten at individual tables.
Children: Children under 4 stay free. There is a small charge for children aged 4 – 11. Children over 12 are charged as adults.
Health: Other than the province of Limon, Costa Rica has low to no risk of malaria.
Communication: There is free WiFi and a reasonable mobile signal in all rooms and common areas.
