The restaurant has indoor and outdoor areas, and the menu features produce from the lodge's orchard, greenhouse and gardens. The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, each with a sun terrace. There's a spa with 5 treatment rooms where you can enjoy a massage or body treatment, or soak in a Jacuzzi as you take in the views. The gardens, dotted with sculptures, are ideal for a quiet stroll, with over 4 kms of trails leading to viewpoints and waterfalls.

Staff can arrange day trips to the highlands and Poas Volcano, and organise activities like rainforest canopy tours, coffee plantation tours and river rafting.

Julia (31/03/2018)

"Beautiful view from the vast balcony. It was a great place to relax after the long flight and get our bearings. Loved having the sun loungers on the balcony. The staff were extremely friendly and we were all on first name terms after just 2 nights. I was sorry to leave! "

Mrs. Susan Richardson
"Due to late pm arrival and very early am departure the following day, all we saw was our room! The staff were helpful in sorting out the issue related to our subsequent luggage collection by Swiss Travel for forward delivery to Arenal, though."
