Si Como No

Central Pacific

Rating: Deluxe

Si Como No overview

Si Como No is set high on a hill above the Pacific Ocean and the beaches of Manuel Antonio National Park. The hotel was designed and built to minimise impact on the natural environment and is run according to 'sustainable hospitality' guidelines.

The hotel offers a choice of room and suite categories, all with telephone, minibar and private bathroom. Air conditioning and ceiling fans keep indoor temperatures refreshingly cool. Deluxe rooms and suites have balconies. There are no televisions as these would only detract from the beauty of the surroundings.

Of the two restaurants, one specialises in fresh seafood and has a dining deck overlooking the jungle, while the other offers relaxed dining beneath a canopy in the gardens and by the pool. The pool terrace also features a swim-up bar, pool, waterfall and Jacuzzi.

The Cala Spa offers beauty and health-promoting treatments using many ingredients grown in the hotels 10 acres of gardens.

While at Si Como No you can explore Manuel Antonio's forests and beaches with a guide, observe nocturnal creatures on a night walk, experience the thrills of a canopy and zip-line tour, swim beneath waterfalls, cruise the ocean by catamaran and go horse riding.

"Nice hotel, with spacious room with a fine outlook Attractive "adult-only" pool and bar Main restaurant was expensive and disappointing, the more casual poolside restaurant was better."
Paul (24/11/2018)
"Great spot from which to explore Manuel Antonio and the mangrove swamps nearby. The hotel provides access to a butterfly farm and this was a great place to relax for and hour or so. Hotel food is very good and the nearby El Avion restaurant is well worth a visit. Accommodation gives amazing views over the forest to the Pacific."
Mr. Martin Bottrill (24/11/2018)
"Good hotel but the resort was very commercialised and the Manuel Antonio reserve was a disappointment from a birdlife perspective. A good place to relax for a few days."
Mr Ian Barthorpe
"Incredible views over the rainforest to the Pacific Ocean - complete with frigatebirds, boobies and pelicans. The white-faced capuchins were easy to see, while we were even treated to visiting squirrel monkeys at breakfast. Excellent birdwatching from balcony, and especially from restaurant. Several of the waiters were good birdwatchers and keen to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with us. Enormous beds - complete with the view. Huge bathroom. Delicious food. The large gift shop and adjacent butterfly garden (complimentary entry included) were an added bonus."
