Finca Rosa Blanca is a small, stylish hotel on a coffee plantation about a 30 minute drive from San Jose airport. As well as enjoying tours of the plantation, you can explore the nearby cloudforest, visit local villages, take a tour to Poas Volcano and Braulio Carillo National Park.
Accommodation is in suites with ceiling fans, free Wi-Fi, coffee maker and minibar. Bathrooms feature either a shower or jacuzzi bath, and some have both, organic toiletries and bathrobes. Each suite has a private terrace where you can sit and look out at the gardens and Central Valley beyond.
The hotel's owner, Glenn Jampol, is an artist and has commissioned local artists to provide paintings and sculptures for the property which add to the style and ambience of the hotel. There is a library with reference books and a book exchange, DVDs and a TV. The lounge-bar has comfy seating and a selection of board games.
Outdoors there's a spring-fed infinity pool, jacuzzi and tropical gardens with flowers, fruit trees and vines. This lush vegetation attracts large numbers of birds and butterflies, and there are walking trails for you to explore.

Rooms: 10 junior suites, 4 master suites and 2 villas make up Finca Rosa Blanca. Each suite is unique and striking in its décor. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and a private veranda or deck.
