Guest staying at Cariblue Beach and Jungle Resort have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Costa Rican culture of 'Pura Vida'. This attractive beachfront property gives you the best of both worlds, not only does it have the beach and ocean, there is also 2 hectares of rainforest for you to explore.
When you are not relaxing on the beach, or seeking out wildlife in the forest, you may want to spend a little time mingling with other guests. The main area, where you'll find the reception, bar and restaurant is house under a huge palm roof, open sides allow the breezes to flow freely. With 2 swimming pools, 2 jacuzzis and a health spa, all your pampering needs are taken care of, take things slow and enjoy the moment.
There are a variety of rooms at Cariblue, but our favourite are the bungalows and this is where we accommodate our guests. They are found in the most secluded part of the resort, surrounded by well-established trees. They are perfect for couples and families alike. The bungalows are built from wood and have been attractively finished and furnished. You'll find a hammock perfectly positioned on the porch where you can spend a little time with a book, or simply close your eyes and listen to the sounds of the forest.
As well as enjoying the relaxed pace of life here, you can also enjoy snorkelling the coral reefs and also hiking in Cahuita National Park. Craft tours to Sarchi can be arranged. Birding is a popular pasttime with more than 120 species recorded in the hotel gardens alone. You may also spot sloths, monkeys and some of the smaller inhabitants such as frogs and butterflies.

0"Lovely room which blended in with the natural environment. We were woken early each morning by the howler monkeys and there were agoutis, frogs and lots of different birds within feet of our lodge. A short walk down the drive takes you to the beautiful caribbean sea."
