This small hotel, with just 10 rooms and 2 suites, has an enviable location overlooking Praia de Rosa, a lovely sandy beach in southern Brazil. You can admire the views from the pool and restaurant, and enjoy beach life and watersports during your stay. Horse riding and walking are also popular pasttimes.
Begin your day choosing from a range of breads, jams, cereals and fruits at the generous breakfast spread. Later in the day you can sample delicious fresh fish, all within sight of the ocean. However busy or leisurely your stay, you should take time to treat yourself to a relaxing massage at the spa, or a soak in one of the jacuzzis, and those so inclined can pay a visit to the gym.
Rooms have a warm, inviting atmosphere, decorated in soothing pastel and neutral shades. All are equipped with comfy beds, plenty of storage space, TV and modern bathroom complete with toiletries and bathrobes. Master and premium rooms have private balconies, as do the 2 large suites, which also have a living room and larger bathroom with dual hand basins and a double shower.

Location: The hotel faces Praia de Rosa in Imbituba, and is 70kms south of Florianopolis, capital of the state of Catarina state in southern Brazil.
Rooms: There are 10 guest rooms, divided into 3 categories. All have phone, TV, hairdryer, bathrobes and en-suite bathroom with toiletries. Deluxe rooms are 35sqm, master rooms cover 42sqm and have a balcony, premium rooms also cover 42sqm, have a balcony and a jacuzzi. There are also 2 suites, casa terra and casa mar, both 100sqm, and with a lounge with a fireplace, Nespresso machine and safe, and a large balcony with a jacuzzi and lounger.
Activities: Relax on the beach using beach towels and chairs provided by the hotel, go surfing and windsurfing, and swim in the sheltered lagoon. On land you can go hiking, horse riding and bird watching. Southern right whales can be seen seasonally, usually between July and November.
Facilities: Leisure facilities include a gym, massage room, sauna and indoor and outdoor jacuzzis. The freeform infinity pool and sundeck overlook the beach and ocean. There is a restaurant (see below).
Dining: Enjoy fish and seafood at Bistro da Varanda, the hotel’s restaurant, open for lunch and dinner. The hotel also provides breakfast.
Children: Children aged 14 years and over are welcome.
Health: Imbituba is a low to no risk malarial area.
Communication: There is free Wi-Fi internet access.
