Villa Bahia is located in the well known Pelourinho neighbourhood that is the historic heart of the city of Salvador. The hotel itself is an historic gem, formed by two adjoining mansions, one dating back to the 17th and the other to the 18th century. Both have been carefully restored and now provide characterful accommodation in a prime location.
With churches, shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants within walking distance there's plenty for you to explore, as well as beaches where you can spend some relaxing downtime. Your host at the hotel, Bruno Guinard, makes you feel welcome, and is happy to share his knowledge of the city and his favourite dining spots where you can enjoy some Bahian cuisine.
Take time to enjoy life at Villa Bahia, resting in the courtyards, enjoying a dip in the pool and relaxing on the roof terrace as you take in views of surrounding houses and bell towers. Start the day with breakfast in the open air, and later treat yourself to some freshly brewed coffee in the lounge. Guest rooms have many original features such as wooden floorboards and high ceilings, complimented by modern touches including air conditioning, TV, DVD player and en-suite bathroom.

Rooms: There are 17 guest rooms, spread across the 3 floors. They range in size from 28 to 40sqm. All have IDD phone, TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi, safe and hairdryer, en-suite bathroom and are air conditioned. Those on the top floor have small terraces.
Activities: Explore Salvador, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit nearby beaches and take boat trips.
Facilities: These include 2 inner courtyards, 1 with a plunge pool and the other with a fountain, a rooftop terrace, restaurant, bar and lounge.
Dining: Meals are served in the restaurant and one of the courtyards. Breakfast is included in the room rate.
