Villa Bahia is located in the well known Pelourinho neighbourhood that is the historic heart of the city of Salvador. The hotel itself is an historic gem, formed by two adjoining mansions, one dating back to the 17th and the other to the 18th century. Both have been carefully restored and now provide characterful accommodation in a prime location.
With churches, shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants within walking distance there's plenty for you to explore, as well as beaches where you can spend some relaxing downtime. Your host at the hotel, Bruno Guinard, makes you feel welcome, and is happy to share his knowledge of the city and his favourite dining spots where you can enjoy some Bahian cuisine.
Take time to enjoy life at Villa Bahia, resting in the courtyards, enjoying a dip in the pool and relaxing on the roof terrace as you take in views of surrounding houses and bell towers.
