Further afield is Dois Rios village with its lovely beach and the remains of 'The Devil's Cauldron', one of Brazil's most notorious prisons, closed in 1994 and now a fascinating place to visit.

This lodge has been taking care of Crena Beach since their arrival, and what a difference they have made. This ex-boat cemetery is transformed! Not content with that, they have moved to other local beaches and cleaned them up too.
