Hotel Cortez, named after its founder Don Martin Cortez, first opened in 1960 as a spa. Its popularity led to the addition of guest accommodation in 1968 and the hotel has been welcoming guests ever since. Today there are 184 rooms in 2 wings, with accommodation for single travelllers, couples and families. All rooms are air conditioned and en-suite.
The restaurant provides a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, and is also open for lunch and dinner. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a childern's paddling pool with a sun deck and recliners plus a terrace where you can enjoy refreshments. The spa includes a choice of saunas and jacuzzis and there's a fitness centre with treadmills, exercise bikes and weights. The lobby has a seating area and there's a mezzanine level with more sofas and chairs where you can relax.

Location: The hotel is on Av. Cristobal de Mendoza just off Monsenor Rivero Boulevard in the centre of Santa Cruz. Viru Viru Airport is about 13kms away.
Rooms: There are 184 rooms made up of doubles (1 queen bed), twins (1 queen and 1 single) and triples (1 queen and 2 singles) plus suites (king size bed). 90 of the rooms located in the executive building and the others are in the main building. Rooms are air conditioned, have a mini fridge, electronic safe, TV and en-suite bathroom with a selection of toiletries. Suites also have a lounge and Wi-Fi internet access. Room service operates between 07:00 and 23:00 daily.
Activities: You are within easy reach of the town centre and tourist attractions including churches, museums, shops and restaurants.
Facilities: There is an outdoor swimming pool and separate children’s pool, a sun deck and terrace with bar service. Other recreational facilities include a jacuzzi, sauna and a gym. There is a large sitting area in the lobby, and a business centre. The hotel provides a laundry service.
Dining: The restaurant is open from 07:00 till 23:00 daily and serving buffet and a la carte meals.
