Las Balsas is in the pretty town of Villa La Angostura overlooking Nahuel Huapi Lake and flanked by mountains. It's an ideal place to unwind as you take in the magnificent views from the comfort of the hotel and. if feeling energetic, is a perfect base for exploring on foot, by boat and on horseback.
Lake rooms provide cosy accommodation with facilities including TV, free wifi, a coffee maker, minibar and en-suite bathroom. If you opt for a larger studio suite you have a sitting area and a dressing room, and corner suites offer the greatest space complete with a large bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower.
The restaurant serves flavourful meals based on regional dishes, exquisitely presented. Cuisine can be paired with your selection from the cellar of over 150 top quality Argentinian wines. At your first dinner you are offered a welcome glass of Lunta Malbec wine.
There are different aspects to enjoy at different times of year. In spring you have the welcome sight of the first flowers of the year, and as summer approaches the days get longer, sunnier and warmer great for outdoor activities. Autumn is especially photogenic as the trees change colour while in the winter months the scene is transformed into a beautiful snow-scape. Find your perfect balance of activity and relaxation. A visit to the spa undeniably helps the latter with a menu including massage, aromatherapy and reflexology.
Given the quality of the facilities and service, and the wonderful location, it's little surprise that Las Balsas is a member of the esteemed Relais & Chateaux group.
