Elegant interiors, impressive facilities and top quality service are key elements at Four seasons in Buenos Aires. This high end hotel is in the fashionable Recoleta district of the city, an area of cafes, restaurants and boutiques frequented by the locals every bit as much as by visitors.
Rooms and suites are beautifully furnished and decorated. Sizes and layouts vary, from the 40sqm rooms to the palatial 180sqm presidential suite, yet all share the same sense of style. Bathrooms come with toiletries and bathrobes and you have free Wi-Fi, a phone and minibar. Suites in La Mansion building are especially lavish with high ceilings, period decor and antiques.
You'll be treated to some fine Argentinian cuisine at Elena, the hotel's main restaurant, where you dine in suitably opulent surroundings. The breakfast buffet is an impressive spread including cereals, fruit, pancakes, pastries and cold meats, with lunch and dinner accompanied by fine Argentinian wines. Nuestro Secreto specialises in barbecues served in a light room with glazed walls and ceiling, and at Pony Line you can enjoy your choice of the cocktail menu in an atmopshere inspired by the polo lifestyle.
During the day you can explore the local neighbourhood and wider city, with staff at the hotel happy to help you make the most of your time by arranging excursions. The hotel offers several recreational options. Take a stroll in the gardens, enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, the only outdoor pool in Recoleta, challenge yourself to a workout at the gym or opt for a revitalising treatment at the spa. The hotel welcomes families and there are board games and DVDs for youngsters and a babysitting service to help parents.
