Help me plan my trip

Victoria Falls

Our Unforgettable Experiences pages are written by Tribes clients. They tell us in their own words what they really felt about the things they did and places and people they met on their holidays with Tribes. Hopefully this will help you when it comes to trying to decide where to go and what to do.

We'd like to thank everyone who takes the trouble to write one of these Experience reviews for us. This is a new part of our website since February 2010, and we hope they will be added to quickly over the coming months.

  3. Trip to Livingstone Island for afternoon tea was super. Also enjoyed the visit to the local village.

  3. It is worth it so see the Falls and cruise the Zambesi. We loved the camp's serenity and charm - a good way to start a holiday after international travel. Staff were so kind and thoughtful.

  3. Spectacular. The falls were very full and we got drenched - viewing from the west was difficult, but you can see them from the East side. It would be good to experience when the falls aren't quite so full

  3. The water flow at the falls was at its lowest as we knew it would be at this time of year (November) although still impressive. However, this did mean that we could swim in the Devil's Armchair which was an exhilarating experience and really worth doing. I do now want to see that falls at their peak flow too.

  3. What falls??? Some wet stuff on the Zimbabwe side but the Zambian water seemed to have been siphoned off for hydroelectric power (October).
