Make sure you go for a private camp if you don't want to be woken by others. Speaking to people on a package tour everyone else detracted from this experience.
Tribes Reply: Tribes agrees that the public camps used by package tours are not good quality, and always arrange private camps for our passengers.

Ibrahim (our guide in Wadi Rum) gave us a fantastic desert experience. The fresh bread he baked for us on the camp fire was a highlight of the holiday.

Our desert experience in particular was everything we could have hoped for - sleeping under the stars was marvellous.
