April

April is a particularly pleasant month for visiting Morocco, and also the Kalahari is less oppressively hot at this time. If you can cope with the heat, April can be one of the best months to spot tigers in India. 

1. 

   Botswana

   • Very good time to explore the Kalahari (not oppressively hot).
2. 

   Ecuador

   • Good month to climb Cotopaxi.
3. 

   Galapagos

   • On Espanola the Waved Albatross start arriving and courting. They can be seen mating until about December.
   • Green turtles start hatching.
4. 

   India

   • Very good for spotting tigers as the heat means less vegetation for them to hide in. However it IS hot, so you need to be able to cope with this.
5. 

   Lesotho

   • Good time for visiting Lesotho (warm, with little rain).
6. 

   Morocco

   • This is a particularly pleasant month for Morocco. Mostly still green, and not too hot.
7. 

   Nepal

   • Excellent month for trekking, flowers, and wildlife viewing.
8. 

   Tanzania

   • The migration is heading towards the west of the Serengeti (though this is also rainy season).
9. 

   Zambia

   • Rainfall permitting, Victoria Falls is in full flow.
   • This is the green season, so there will be rain, though this can be one of the most beautiful months in Zambia.
