This was a really lovely place to stay with a lot of effort put into making each day different - eg dinners eaten in different places each night. The staff were fantastically helpful, the food was good and plentiful (5 meals a day!), the guides were knowledgeable. Toilets apart, the rooms are fantastic - especially (I imagine) if there are only two of you - polished stone floors, beautiful sinks, comfy bed with net canopy, outside shower. Negatives were that the toilet is open plan in the bedroom which became a pain when we all suffered from tummy bugs. Punters should also be aware that the pools are too small to do anything other than get wet in. Games room needs some replenishment of games (it seems that no one ever checks that all the bits of the scrabble board are there at places like this). Also I am not convinced that this is the best place to see game as it is very bushy with lots of places for animals to hide in. This makes the tracking more fun, but don't expect big vistas with herds of zebra. Having said that, it is somewhere I would love to go back to, maybe without the children so as to have the luxury of the room to ourselves.
