- We spent five days in the Amazon basin which was amazing be prepared for alot of insect repellent! The lodges were beautiful despite their remoteness and the food was really good. The guide we had was brilliant and found us tarantulas, piranhas and many more exciting animals. The Macaws were out of this world, a once in a lifetime experience.
