- We had an exciting time getting here along a road that has to be experienced to be understood. We had to leave our driver with the luggage due to a landslide and walk the last two or three kilometres, arriving as it was getting dark. Not the easiest when your torch is in your luggage and you can't find the matches. But it was great, though we actually had better sightings of the Cock of the Rock while at Inkaterra Machu Picchu, including two females.
