Spacious, meticulously maintained tents. Running water, warm showers, flushing toilets. Much better than we expected plus the nightly visits from lion, hippos, hyenas, zebra in the camp after dark all made this a great experience. We saw over 130 species of animals and birds in 4 days. Stunning!
At this point we were a little safaried out... However the beauty of the Mara, the ease of spotting animals and the first thing we saw being a cheetah hunting..all this reawakened our senses and we had a fabulous 3 days. This camp is definitely much better managed than the Amboseli one. The guides better, the food superior, the cleanliness better and they were always on time. The replacement manager had malaria but he came in to greet us and as soon as he felt better joined us for a moment around the fire. Our guide Joseph was very dedicated and the driver was a great spotter. The chef came to the dining room every evening to say hello - all dressed in a white chef's uniform and green crocs!
Totally an eco-friendly establishment situated in a very relaxing location. The tents were spacious and well equipped with flush toilets and hot water provided for showers. The service provided by the staff was very attentive, but not over obtrusive and one could relax easily after the game drives. The food was excellent and well prepared and presented.
