- A lovely setting and beautiful dining and sitting areas. The rooms, permanent and brick-built, were 'average' and the showers good. It was a bigger and less personal hotel than the other lodges we stayed in. There was no welcome and no effort by the management to meet guests. However food and service was good, and if we had not been spoilt elsewhere, we may have rated it more highly.
