    16. Younis, our guide, was great company and very easy to get along with. He demonstrated great local knowledge of the Atlas and also of the local fauna and flora. The trek guides were excellent and very easy to build up a rapport with despite our language and cultural differences.

    19. We spent some time with the local Berber families and we found out first hand how tourism was benefitting the local economy. We also consider that everything was managed in a sensitive way.

    21. A really enjoyable ten days with the only negative being the final day hike being just a time filler. A longer walking itinerary would be great.

      Marakech is just something else and not for the fainthearted. I enjoyed the hustle and bustle and the mix of cultures.

    4. The local crew and guides were very helpful and we easily developed a great rapport with our small group. Our chef, Ahmed, enjoyed the challenge of creating our vegetarain cuisine! The local Berber accommodation on the trek was superb and we were treated like royalty. We found the local townspeople very friendly and welcoming.
