Great holiday. Went forest, beach, city and enjoyed all 3 parts of it. Fascinating ecosystems, wildlife and cultures. Weather mixed but warm throughout. Loved the landscapes, and the environments. We were mystified by the 20th century history, the fixation with security and the huge divisions between city and rural, haves and havenots, but will go back for sure. The service culture was very strong.

A few details such as addresses, locations and contact details for the venues would have made it excellent. I always think there is a big gap between making the booking and actually getting the detailed pack.

It as rustic as we expected, but no lights, broken generator went on for too long. Food was so rich that we would have struggled ot stay longer. Very sugary, rich, main courses. A BBQ or simple grilled food would have made a difference.

Cant fault it. Loved every minute. But its not a good snorkelling venue. You either need to go a few kms out in the boat or in the rock pools which have some strong currents running through them.
