    13. The economy especially in Ollantaytambo relies on tourism. Made effort to use local small restaurants and shops.

    15. Apu Huascaran, Cusco: This small hotel is well located in a nicer part of the town but well within walking distance of the main square albeit up a hill. It is basic and the rooms a little small but it was clean and friendly and I would use it again.

    3. Nice quality largish hotel. Only criticism was no plug in the handbasin!. Very convenient for the station and they picked up and delivered luggage from the station itself. Food was good in evening. No complaints at all.

    3. Cusco is a great old city and delightful to walk round. Only danger is taking it easy if flying in from Lima as the altitude hits you for the first 24 hours. Also watch the sun at this altitude! The Inca sites are a great appetiser for the real thing up in the Sacred Valley and Machu Pichu.

    3. As fantastic as you would expect. The walk up to the Sun Gate is harder going than you would expect but worth it. The crowds may become tiresome in the afternoon but the wonder of the views cannot be overstated. The buffet at the entrance is top quality.
