    6. A wonderful holiday. Everything went very smoothly and we really enjoyed the range of activities on offer. Malawi was wonderful and we enjoyed the town tours of Blantyre and Zomba. The Satemwa tea estate lodge was still being renovated and the factory was closed for the August holidays but we had a lovely lunch in the guest lodge and our excellent driver, Everlasting, was a very knowledgable guide to the flora and fauna of the area so we had a really good day. Ku Chawe, Mvuu. All the accommodation was superb with the exception of the Masompenya Lodge in Blantyre. Visiting Dedza was great fun. A real trip to remember.
In South Africa I loved the Marataba Lodge - real luxury!

    8. Julie was very helpful and I was delighted to find that she knew Malawi well. The literature provided was very useful especially the packing list. The only hiccup was when we couldn't contact the Wilderness Safari rep on the emergency number to discuss moving from the Masompenya Lodge but everything turned out all right.

    14. I felt that we were provding support through employment for local people in hotels, buying souvenirs from markets. Mvuu was very focused on the environment; Danforth and Marataba less so.
