    13. Tracey at Tribes understood our requirements and put together a package which was extremely successful. Our safari driver was excellent. Everything worked like clockwork. Standard of accommodation was also excellent.

    4. A good location in Stonetown. Hotel is clean, but service is a little slow, but a good choice in a challenging location!

    4. We used the hotel as a stop-over on the return journey from Zanzibar to the airport for the BA flight. Our rooms were small and the shower room was shabby. The only redeeming feature of the location was the Terrace restaurant at the Slipway which was excellent. I suspect that there are few other options in Dar!

    4. Fabulous location. We had the accommodation with the two ensuite bedrooms. Private plunge pool overlooking the sea. The gardens are immaculate. Bar/eating area is outstanding and the food is excellent. Now next to a five star hotel which has a pier built into the ocean so that you can walk there in one minute for a drink. We would not have wished to stay at any of the other locations on this stretch of beach.

    4. It is a destination that should be combined with a trip elsewhere in East Africa unless you are a watersports enthusiast. If you on the other hand just want to chill out, then the Zanzibari Hotel is great.

    4. We saw the Serengeti, Ngorogoro crater and Lake Manyara. Do not miss the Serengeti or the crater, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time as the distances to be travelled by jeep are long if you are starting out from Arusha.
