    6. Apart from the unfortunate beginning - aircraft failing to take off - the entire experience was very rewarding, relaxing and at the same time very stimulating. It was very well planned.

    8. Julie planned the holiday with meticulous care and covered all our requirments. Throughout the process she was very informative and was able to answer any queries we had. The information pack provided was excellent and gave a very good introduction to the Masai Mara, its people and wildlife and details of the 3 stages of our holiday.

    10. The entire holiday was an experience we will never forget and thanks must go to all involved from Julie to the owners, guides and staff we encountered during our stay in Kenya.

    12. All the guides we encountered were first class, very knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to explian and identify wildlfe. They displayed a great understanding of the problems facing nature tours in Kenya and further afield. Their thirst for knowledge was apparent - trying to improve their understanding and knowledge of other creatures. At no time throughout the drives did we feel uneasy or placed in any danger even though the terrain was difficult.

    14. During our stay at the Sanctuary whilst horse riding we visited a local school with Gill Elias, which was a very humbling experience. It made us totally aware what conditions are like in the schools - no real equipment or classrooms etc. Children in this country do not appreciate what they have. It made us take stock and we will endeavour to improve their conditions by helping to provide books, games etc for the children in the area.

    3. The tents were comfortable and hot water was available. We do not know how the chef could prepare such excellent meals on very basic equipment. They were superb and would put many TV chefs to shame. The safari enabled us to feel the true Africa and the guides were excellent.

    3. Totally an eco-friendly establishment situated in a very relaxing location. The tents were spacious and well equipped with flush toilets and hot water provided for showers. The service provided by the staff was very attentive, but not over obtrusive and one could relax easily after the game drives. The food was excellent and well prepared and presented.

    3. We wanted to experience the people, nature and wildlife at ground level and we certainly did. The welcome and hospitality we encountered was first class and we were made to feel at home and not just another tourist.
