All arrangements that could be controlled went smoothly. Good to share the experience with the Maasai although at points I wish we could have had a bit more information of what we were seeing. Generally though the guide and drivers found everything we were looking for. I suppose the one thing we were not really ready for was how cold it could get at the equator driving about in a truck under cloudy skies. Perhaps the information supplied beforehand could be beefed up to suggest good woollen clothing, a woolly hat and a lightweight waterproof jacket. Perhaps they were on the list and we missed them, but that it could be stressed that it can get wet in the "dry season" and cold at 1 degree South.

Generally good. Found most items of interest at the right times. Could have done with a bit more information at times. Some communication barriers in understanding accents, rather than any problems with speaking in English.

I think this camp/arrangement got it just about right betwen comfort and environmental impact. I suppose newer trucks would cause less pollution. Great to have the Maasai as hosts and to know a greater part of the finances were going back into their community for having shared their land with us. The message that wildlife has a value appears to be getting through, but I fear it will lead to more of their community heading for the city and abroad.
We saw a spectacular Wildebeest crossing of the Mara river, thanks to our guide and driver, as well as 4 leopards, 6 cheetah and 8 lions. Some unforgettable experiences. The guide and drivers found everything we were looking for and got us into some pretty exciting positions
